Great zoo exhibits are exciting, adventurous, even a little scary. They put you face to face with the animals, they let you feel you’re part of their world. To us, animals are not just exhibits – they’re individual characters and part of a community that we encourage visitors to feel part of too.
Being able to look into and through the eyes of another species can help forge a lifelong connection between humans and the natural world. It’s the all-important first step in the Connect-Understand-Act conservation education model.
All our designs work to engage all the senses, allow visitors to explore and play and create that all-important emotional connection. Our aim is to encourage a sense of discovery and delight that promotes inquiry and insight – and that ultimately motivates visitors to care enough about animals and nature to act to protect it.
